Isreal is the editor and chief of Newsy.co.nz. He has vast experience in the online space and owns and operates several New Zealand and Internationally based websites. Isreal started Newys.co.nz to provide New Zealanders with an alternative the the large budget online publishers that tend to focus on non news related articles.
Isreal says “the response to the website so far has been amazing. So many people love the sites navigation and the articles we write.” Over the comming year, Isreal plans on increasing the number of writers on his team to write about other niche categories that the other main news agencies don’t cover.
Anaru H
Anaru is our technical reporting and has a strong background in both publishing, technology, programing and network infrastructure. Anaru is not like most reporters. He is experienced in a variety of programing languages and has launched many successful software applications in bot the private and government sectors.
Anaru knows technology and reports on up and comming technologies with a in depth understanding. He’s a valued member of the team and loves writing about what he loves the most, technology.
Sarah Finlay
Sarah is no slouch when it comes to reporting. She is located in London and travels around Europe on a regular basis writing for a wide range of UK publishers. Sarah writes all the travel news stories for Newsy and sometimes food and wine reviews. She is a ‘Kiwi’ but moved overseas when she left University to explore the world and travel which is what she still does today.
Lindsay Smiles
Lindsay is our political and government journalist and reports on everything that happens in our beehive but also internationally. He has studies politics at university and has worked for a variety of both online and traditional news agencies. Lindsay is now located in Australian but spent may years in New Zealand reporting on the Labor Government.
Luke Simmons
Luke is Newsys youngest journalist and reports on world news along with food and wine related news stories. Luke is currently at university but has been blogging and writing online for five years. Many seasoned reporters comment on the quality of Luke’s reporting and writing skills. Luke is off traveling the world for three months but will still contribute to Newsy site on a daily basis.
Judy M.H
Judy specialises in health and has been writing for a variety of online blogs, forums and news sites all around the world. After years of working within the health industry, Judy now dedicated her time to her grandchildren and writing. She also speaks at schools and conferences sharing her vast knowledge with people that are eager to learn.
